Tri State Coaches Association Championship Meet 4/12/25

Saturday, at the Tri State Coaches Association Championship meet, which featured 50 teams and over 1600 athletes, several Gator stars shone brightly! Dino Naderevic led the boys team to a 6th place finish by winning the Shot Put with a meet-record throw of 59’ 5.5” followed by another win in the Discus where he broke his own school record with another throw over 172’ ! Other medalists for the boys were Austin Lockhart, 3rd in the Triple Jump, sophomore Jayden Stammer, 4th in both the 100 and 200, the 3rd place 400m relay team of Aaron Staley, Isaiah Kelley, Stammer, and Lockhart, and the 8th 1600m relay team of Nizaiah Heller, Kelley, Tashon Gowder, and Mike Howard. For the girls team, the performance of the day was by Taniya Denson who broke the school record in the Pole Vault with a leap of 10’ 7”, placing 6th. Other girls medalists were Kalee Kellman, 6th in the 300 hurdles and 7th in the 100m hurdles, and the 400m relay team of Journi Parks, Kellman, Aniya Bell, and Jace Smith. Congratulations to these students!
Come watch them perform tomorrow after school at the home meet with Franklin Regional and Woodland Hills which will decide the section championships.
