The Gateway Boys Tennis Team’s incredible run came to a dramatic end Friday night at the Hershey Racquet Club, where the Gators fell in a nail-biting PIAA Quarterfinal match against Central Bucks East.
The Patriots struck first with quick wins at 1st and 2nd doubles, putting Gateway in an early hole. But the Gators weren’t ready to pack it in. Junior Logan Memije delivered a clutch 6-4, 6-4 win at 3rd singles to swing momentum back in our favor.

The third set was a fierce battle, but a few tough breaks went the other way, and Adam narrowly dropped it 7-5, ending the team’s run.
