The Gateway Gators Boys Volleyball team wrapped up regular season play by defeating the Fox Chapel Foxes in a clean 3-0 sweep in their final match of the regular season.  Individual set scores are as follows: (1) Gateway (25) - Fox Chapel (16), (2) Gateway (25) - Fox Chapel (17), and (3) Gateway (25) - Fox Chapel (11).  The Gators were led to a decisive victory thanks in large part to standout serving performances by Tommy Nikou, who recorded 8 aces, and Daniel Bozicevic, who recorded 6 aces, and standout hitting performances by Darious Farrar, who recorded 11 kills, and Chase Lewandowski and Daniel Bozicevic, who each recorded 8 kills.  Last night's win allowed for the Gators to hold on to their first-place standing in AAA Section 4 volleyball to close out the regular season.  The Gators finished the regular season with a section record of 8-2, an overall record of 10-2, and in sole possession of the WPIAL AAA Section 4 Section Championship!
