This past weekend, thirteen swimmers competed at the WPIAL Championships at the University of Pittsburgh. The following swimmers placed at the meet: Gunner Raymer placed 5^th in the 200 freestyle and 8^th in the 100 Breastroke. Aliya Rassiane placed 5^th in the 50 Free and 3^rd in the 100 free. The relay team of Aliya, Madeline Pekarek, Katelyn Pekarek, and Gianna Laurenti placed 5^th in the Girls 400 Freestyle Relay. All of these swimmers advanced to the PIAA Championships at Bucknell University on March 11 & 12.

Also participating in the WPIAL Championships: Gianna Laurenti placed 19^th in the 50 free and 12^th in the 100 breast, Maddie Pekarek placed 11^th in the 100 Free and 15^th in the 100 backstroke, Katelyn Pekarek placed 21^st in the 50 free and 15^th in the 500 free, Elle Kaminski placed 21^st in the 500 free, and Catherine Graves placed 19^th in the 500 Free. Dallas Richardson swam the 50 and 100 freestyles (placing 31st and 33rd) while Jacob Beighel, John Beighel, Sebastian Seman, Raphael Nunez, and Adam Pugliano all participated on relays.
