High School Bowling National Championship

The Gateway Bowling Gators traveled to Ft. Wayne Indiana to compete in the High School Bowling National Championships this past weekend. Saturday was team event day. The Gators bowled 2979 and finished 32nd. Lead by Allon Wallace Jr 's 422 for 2 games.
Sunday was a better day for the Gators. Led by Allon Wallace Jr 839 for 4 games followed by Josh Zlokas 798, Chase Owens 781, Landon Lohr 776, Joey Jurczak 767 and Chris Roseberry 552. The Surviver round cut of 160 bowlers was 778. Allon, Josh and Chase all made the cut.
Monday was the finals. It was definitely Allon's day. Shooting 665 in first Surviver round, totaling 1504 and qualifying 48th. After shooting 394 in the 2nd Surviver. Allon finished 40th in the Nation. Allon averaged 212.5 for the tournament.
